National Lost Property Office Logs Unclaimed Frontier Model as Found Goods, Issues Completions Only as Numbered Claim Checks
An unnamed frontier model is logged as found goods. Completions issue as numbered claim checks; weights stay on a cloakroom shelf pending paper pedigree.
GENEVA - The National Lost Property Office announced Monday that an unnamed frontier model offered without a laboratory of record has been entered as found goods. The filing was posted on docket NLP-88-F. Completions will be issued only as numbered claim checks. The weights remain on a cloakroom shelf until an owner presents a paper pedigree.
Laboratories have 30 days to claim the model at window 4. Failure to appear leaves the model in the unclaimed bin. Queries submitted during the hold are clipped to the claim check and are not training, the office said, because found goods are not a dataset.
"A model that cannot name its owner is found property," office counsel said. "Use is custody, not a license."
A spare claim book is kept behind the counter. Reclassification as a public model has not been posted.
