One Rubber Stamp Drawer Must Clear OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Safety Pledge
One rubber-stamp drawer must take three lab impressions on one certificate before OpenAI, Anthropic and Google file a joint AI safety pledge; filings returned NO AUTHORITY.
WASHINGTON - OpenAI, Anthropic and Google must share one drawer of rubber stamps at the Standards Desk of Frontier Seals before a joint AI safety pledge can be filed. Earlier filings returned stamped NO AUTHORITY.
The desk accepts a pledge only when each lab leaves an impression on one certificate drawn from that drawer. Chairs marked NOT SEATED stood empty beside the counter during the stamp issue.
An analyst note said SAFA talks and a White House voluntary framework stay in draft, with no stamp step in either text.
"Three impressions, one drawer, one certificate. A two-stamp pledge is a draft," the Standards Desk of Frontier Seals said.
